W140 s500 upper and lower Antenna Seal

Having a heck of a time finding an s500 upper and lower Antenna Seal for this power antenna. Theres the black plastic piece that is mounted to the antenna from underneath and there used to be something like a shroud over top. Having a hard time finding the 2 piece set. Any ideas?

You should post in the W140 forum for your car.

But I will help you anyway:

New Mercedes W140 Genuine Radio Power Antenna Seal Kit 140 820 14 75 | eBay

You could also get it from the dealer.

Thanks, apologies for wrong posting area. There is no way to get to the W140 thread (that I can see)on a mac due to the fact that the drop down menu for the sedan section bleeds off the page at the bottom. Perhaps the leading can be tightened up so all of the selectable forums are visible.

re: the kit. i've seen this kit. On my antenna, it appears I an missing a top plastic cover piece, perhaps something that is held down buy that black retaining nut/ i don't need the cast metal flange. Is the plastic round grommet piece designed to fit into the fender hole from underneath? thus creating a water tight seal?

Sounds like a trip to a dealer in in the cards..

Here is a link to the W140 forum:

As for this not working on a Mac I'm not sure I understand - I've got a number of Macs and it works just fine on all of them. You can also go to the main forum page and navigate from there, too....

You're probably talking about the plastic "cone" that is color keyed to the exterior color and simply snaps on top of the antenna housing. Yes, this is a dealer item and readily available. You can find it by looking here:

See you in the W140 forum!
