280SE blower motor replacement

I need to replace the heater blower motor. I have read through the options and I'm considering the Niedermeyer hack as opposed to removing the dash. I have tried to access the thread on ******** but it seems the site is not active. Does anyone have an active link to the instructions?
Thanks in advance.

Yes the motor shot. The bearing is toast. I can feel it when I turn the fan.
In regards to the Niedermeyer hack, it is an alternate method for replacing the fan by cutting an access hole under the cowl and replacing the motor with one that is readily available. I believe fom a Ford Mustang.

If you find those instructions I'm sure many here would appreciate it.
Cheers John.
