1966 230 Fintail electrical-no lights working
I have the car started and running. Only the left and right turn signals work-I may have had tailights at one point. I changed out all the fuses and cleaned the fuse block. no headlights, tail lights, brake lights, interior or clock or heater fan motor. Radio works because it is wired direct. There is an old anti theft unit in there with the two in-line fuses taken out to the alarm horn and power. Ignition white dash light does work, gauges work.
Where shall I start? Does the Ballast Resistor or voltage regulator need to be checked? I have the engine block at coil grounded to the body, and the old braided main ground strap is broken and not connected under the battery tray... Am I missing something simple (like the big ground), or should I start testing all circuits for power in case i just have a lot of burnt out bulbs? Thank you for all input and suggestions!
