Hmmmm, buy for $500, strip $1K of parts and sell iron for $300???
are W111 parts worth salvaging? I like the white steering wheel!
If you have time, space, want to do a lot of work, etc, then yes you can make money on it. The tail lights, temp sender, bumpers if good chrome, interior door handles, cranks, ignition switch, radio all have value. It really depends on what your time is worth, how easy it is to dispose of w/o title afterwards, and how much space you have.
