Fuel Pump not running > 1975 M.B. 450 SEL
Hello All Happy Holidays :
Where the heck is the Fuel pump Relay ? / Fuse ?
The > 1975 M.B. 450 SEL I think is different then a SL Model ?
Manual doe not say where relay is ? " Chilton "
Car is a 116 D Jet 450 SEL Sedan
Drivers Side has a Fuse Box by Master cylinder with fuse's and 3 Short Silver Color relays one on top and 2 under ? is a List of the Fuses but nothing about the relay's in the same box ? so I have no Idea what they are for ?
Manual say nothing about location ?
Normally on this 75 SEL Sedan when the key is turned on the Fuel Pump runs for about 1 second . You can hear it every time you turn on the key .
Then I start the car .
Now all of a sudden the car does not start has spark and gas in the tank .
key on no sound of pump working for 1 second like always ? so the fuel pump is not running . Now I Know the Pump could have failed But .
Thought I would check the relay ? but can't find it ?
pole Jump to test is 30 to 87 Correct ?
How about a Fuel Pump Fuse ? should their be one ?
Raining now but I can go under the car to check for power to pump when it clears , but surely the Relay Must be somewhere ?
on the net it shows a large long Black Relay ? nothing like that in my Fuse box ?
