I like the Manual Windows myself but would buy one with power also although
the Regulators just bend and brake due to poor design of the one only vertical life Guide Bar . Owner has not had the Car long enough most likely to bring the price in line . But you have nothing to lose but gas money and time humm .
Personally I would ask in advance if you can inspect the car on a lift at your expense ( gas station ) to look for reasons to lower the price SUSPENSION Motor mounts . Lot of miles so lots to look for . Valve , Chain right track their.
Hey he says he has all the records yes ? ask him to scan and send them to your email ? all he can say is no ? if he wants to sell it then to scan and send is at most a 15 min thing . Inspect the radiator as close as you can look for blockage in the runners under the cap as well as the he lower tank seams .
He's asking $6,500 so dreaming of $6,000 but would take $5,500 most likely and you could ask after reviewing the records if he would accept that $5,500 before looking ? Then if willing to pay $4,500 go and look and just find a additional $1,000 , $1500 worth of repairs ( like exhaust System back to OEM .Personalty I think Its more about Shopping :

Did not start on day and was left 6 years sitting . Motor looked Clean as did the Car . Interior was completely replaced and nice . Dash Perfect but no dash lights .( Was the rheostat )
I Inspected the Car and Cranking it on Starter Oil Pressure shot to the Top on Cranking . Motor had NO SPARK on Cranking from Coil , but power to Coil humm . Coil Fired when Opening Points by Finger ! . All Wiring looked perfect ( CA Car ) Motor sounded Normal under cranking . No Leaks under Car at all . All original exhaust System:
except the under manifold Cat's had been removed with new one's downstream . All suspension under the car ( Bushings / Rubber ) looked like new ? or had no signs of wear , this car was kept up . Car had no 450 SEL Emblem and I suspected a Wreck but no signs of such. ( Later learned the car was ordered that way " no Emblem please " .
Price ? they wanted $3,000 after negotiation via email I got them down to $1,500 Cash as is . They agreed , went and picked it up. I did not like the wire Wheels on it but expect I can sell them for something .
Did I Get Lucky ? I don't think so . On this car 241K miles but body so nice and such my take on it is that I can get my money back in parts if all go's bad .
Had it running in 3 days playing with it . Power Steering Seal caused vary small leakage creating oil Film on Drivers side front , Power washed low pressure got spark . Motor started ran on 4 Cyls Compression all 150 ish
Played with trigger points Motor ran 8 Cylinders but poor low RPM's
AAV Valve Stuck Plunger " Cleaned ". Cold Start Valve Bad "Replaced $20"
Used. ECU smelled burnt bad ( but car ran smooth now ? ) ECU had Burn Trail on Mother Board contact to contact Replaced with used $100
is this a Post Hijack ? Sorry Was trying to Talk Shopping , Price , Repairs and what perhaps to look for .
That's a Nice car but I think Your right on overpriced . Perhaps they paid Considerably Less. Perhaps You might trade something on a deal ?
