Why? Not worth it?
Among many other things:

This car has some serious rust issues and that means a lot of $$$$$.
Most probably the bellows need to be replaced and valves of the air suspension need to be rebuilt, add quite a few more $$$$
M189 engines are rare and expensive to repair ...

Seeing that the son of the 85 year old Laguna man "sold" this car on ebay for $17,100 with an extra engine, a trunk lid, and an engine bonnet/hood, I wonder if the spare engine (and hood/bonnet?) was sold off for a nice price?

It seems that someone recently won the auction for this car at $8200, and still didn't purchase the car.

If anything the suspension is sitting high. I would bet dollars to donuts that it is sitting on blocks of wood inside the suspension (like my recent acquisition is sitting). There is no possible way that the suspension is working on that car.

The difference in auction bid prices is pretty impressive when the extra engine is added to the listing:
http://ebay.to/1HHuB8B

High bidders less than an hour left both have less than 10 feedback.

That's if they pay. As mentioned earlier, none of the later (high) bidders had feedback values above 7 or 8. Not a good sign when you're talking about $24k worth of car.

I'm betting it's relisted soon.
