"Free", if you can pick it up in Kingston, Ontario… Otherwise, it will be the Crusher. (Makes me sad, but…)

When is it going to the crusher? And can you post some pics and list the problems, especially ones on the body?

I'd love to haul home a parts car, but Canada is a long way from Texas!

Good tip on the etching primer. I'm picking up my welder today, so maybe I'll have some welding pics in the next few days!

You could probably pry the 1970-72 250 sedan out of Dgosh28's hands pretty easily if you need m130 stuff. He is in Houston.

Edit: I now see that yours is an m110, not m130 like mine and dgosh28. But yours still seems to be a gen1 model.

Local junkyard got another w114 in last week, so I checked it out yesterday. It was a 1976 four door, so no seats to snag for my coupe. However, it did have the dual overhead six under the hood with a Holley carb conversion, so I grabbed that! Goodbye Solex. I also found a trunk lock, which my car was missing. I plan to take my doors, trunk, and glovebox to a locksmith... hoping they can re-key everything to match?

Oh, and looking at the floors in the four door, I think I can get the four's floor pan to work in my coupe. They look to be close enough that I can buy a panel and alter it a bit.

Due to rain and cold, I haven't done much on the car. I ordered some floor pans, got some spare parts in the mail, and pulled a Holley carb and other bits from a local junkyard w114. I need to pull my Solex to make sure the Holley will bolt up, otherwise I need to go back and get the manifold, as well.

The W114/115 platforms share the same floor pans. No difference between coupes and sedans.

The Holley should be a straight bolt on. I used one on my '74 280C for a couple of years. Never was particularly happy with it but it was a quantum leap above the Solex it replaced.

I seem to remember having to finagle the electric choke mechanism and never really getting it set up to my satisfaction.

Where are you located janikphoto? Does that W114 in the salvage yard still have the radiator and transmission?
