A year isn't that long. Heck, does the battery even need charging?
On the black 1972 250c I'm bringing back, someone had unbolted the rear driver caliper and tossed it over the axle. I drove it around the block that way. I still have a stuck caliper as I actually had to push it to get it to roll down a hill (to the side of the road) when it stalled as I embarked around the block. So I too will be redoing the brake.
All I did before I turned the key on my 250c that hadn't been started in a year was check the fluids and turn the key. I did find several very very messy problems due to rotten and eaten hoses (that the PO warned me about) including:
- rotted and missing fuel hoses
- rotted and eaten transmission lines
- an eaten oil pressure gauge line
From what I understand, the m130 (assuming that's what you have) is a pretty robust motor.
