I think agillot's point is that such cars are fairly hard to find...

I think agillot is a master Mercedes mechanic and has worked on these before and is trying to warn the the faint of heart to avoid them. I agree. Having owned several air suspended cars, yes they are a PIA but once set up they are great to drive and will stay up for weeks. Plus if you have driven an old 6.3 and have thrown your front seat rider into the back seat there is nothing like it. You must be willing to part with $$$$ if you maintain them on your own or $$$$$$$ if you have to pay others. The m-100.co web site provides great advice if you want to take the plunge.

100K?. You can replace all of the air suspension specific parts for less than
10K.

Stay up for weeks at a time? Mine has stayed up for as many a three months
unused with not even 1mm of drop.

The only reason the system becomes unreliable or fails is abuse by ham handed maintenance personal or someone trying to cut corners and cheap out
system parts and maintenance.

Martin Werminghausen at 600.Airsuspension.com will fix your valves for $550-600 each. Plus about $335 perbag.
