sources for W114 coupe parts

Hi. A friend is looking for a parts supplier for his 1971 280 Coupe W114 series.

Parts required range from interior trim, some engine parts and running gear, etc.

Could be anywhere in the world.

Would be grateful for some suggestions. Thanks again.

I'd look in eBay as a starter. I bought a ton of really good stuff from folks there. I'd often ask if they were parting out a car or if they had other parts to get rid of, and would come up with some great deals. There are some things you should buy through distributors, such as rubber and seals. But everything else, especially if you're willing to refurb or renew yourself, can be bought used.

A few weeks ago, I noticed some door seals and weatherstripping for the 280c on sale, I think at autohaus. Now, I go to order, and I can't find it even listed. You think they were clearing it out?!? I need to replace all my rubber.
