i have allready answered that question , when the regulator breaks in two , the aluminum guide that is held by 2 6 mm bolts bend , this cause the window to tilt and come out of track .this rail is also held at the regulator that you have replaced by also 2 6 mm bolts and a shell with a plastic slider .so either go back to yard and get a unbent one or straighten the one you have .

Interesting. I can't see "SEL" anywhere other than your post on the page in either a browser or autoguide app.

I do now see all other posts by the OP seem to be regarding an SEL.

your correct Agillot
I just got tired of people who can't read
any way I followed your advice after trying to Straighten the Guide Bar for the Drivers side Power Window and it still did not work went back to the salvage yard and got another Guide Bar . It comes ( at least all of them I looked at in the salvage yard ) with a Bow in it . I have not installed it yet as the salvage yard is a long way from home . I also bought just in case another lift bracket with sleeve containing the Plastic parts that slide up and down the Guide Bar.
Talking the bracket that Bolts on one end to the Window along the bottom edge .
I am hoping this well solve the problem however i do think the window may have slid in the Bracket that holds it .
Also again I should state that of all 4 regulators I removed at salvage yard and they where the correct one's 3 of them where twisted and bent but not broken . Only one from a 79 300 SD was only slightly twisted and I was able to straighten it out . I compared the guide bar to the one's that where badly twisted and they looked the same ? with a bow in them . They do not seem to come stright but rather with a bow to them ??? .
Can this be right ? I also slid the windows up and down at salvage yard by hand disconnected from the Power lifting and they slid just fine and nice and tight ? Did this as a test to make sure they seem to work ok .

after installing the Guide Bar I will post if it works or not . My Guess is that it should work but I have a bad feeling it may not work .

Everything else looks perfect like the felt channel's and such with the exception of perhaps the window may have slid toward the door latch side perhaps .
thanks for your help we shall see
O.T. but what the heck
Note the car runs great now I replaced the ECU ( was smelling very bad and had a burned something on the mother board . Repaired and set the Trigger points > that was tricky >
My Next post well inquire about the least costly way to convert to MegaSquirt . I am wondering how to set up a trigger wheel and or if I can use something on the flywheel as I have a 3 speed automatic type .
also wondering if a Automatic overdrive can be fitted to the 75 MB 450 sel
I believe that's a Ford type unit Transmission yes ? that would be a huge millage saver . Have a great weekend all

What difference does it make if you don't know how to fix it anyway.
And had you read the entire Post's in order to answer then you would have seen the 450 SEL at the top of the post .
However I removed it just for you
But just to make you humm ? ? 450 SEl 450 SEl 450 SEL 1975 1975 1975
