D JET ECU WANTED BOSCH 0 280 002 014

Hello Found that my ECU Unit is burned up inside and not sending signals to the Fuel injectors to give gas . Anyone have a good working used one ?
BOSCH 0 280 002 014 is the number on it
1975 Mercedes 450 SEL ( a 4 door sedan ) Understand a 107 may also work on this 116 type also a BOSCH 0 280 002 014 ( that may be a Mercedes SL )
I will call Bosch on Monday and check to see what I can learn of the Interchange if any 1 888 715 3616 Perhaps I will get lucky and get some help with this. I Know I can buy a Re manufactured one but they are Expensive and a working used one is fine with me .
This ECU is located in the Passenger side foot well in the kick Panel on the right . Just Pops out after removing panel cover ( 1 screw to remove panel cover ) Pry on Bottom edge of ECU Gently and it will pop out . Is about 13 inches long and 7 Inches wide " Approximately "

Have you been able to confirm it's the ECU and not the wiring harness?

I already sold the ECU from my 1972 450sl, but I'm in the process if making a 1973 450sl run. The car should probably be parted out, and I will eventually have one for sale most likely. But... I bet you can pick one up on ebay. These don't fail too often, but it's good to have a spare on hand anyway. D-jet owners are smart to have spares of everything really.

I do have a wiring harness ready to go if you have any fear that could be your problem.

Car I am working with is a 1975 Mercedes 450 SEL 4 door sedan . do you have a wiring harness for that or for a SL Model ?
The Wiring looks good so far but have not done a complete inspection as of
yet . The ECU I can buy New for only $195 with warranty . from ProgRama

they are to much at ebay , from a salvage yard I expect I can find one for $50 to $80 however I am in a rural area and would have to travel to get it.

I don't know how similar the layout is in a w116. In a 107, the harness comes through the firewall near the right valve cover. I'm trying to think if all the components it hits, like the MPS on the driver fender. Otherwise, I think all the components are on the engine and should be in the same place.

Aluminum,

My parts spread sheet says I have a 0 280 002 014 pulled from 1975 450 SEL (116 033 12 030272). PM me if you still need one. I'm interested in your old one so I can build another breakout box by harvesting the card edge connector. I also have numerous 107 and 116 engine harnesses because of this project:

I'm rebuilding a 107 harness right now.

Great looks good .
Looks just like mine except for the smaller Number code's on the Tag .
Main number is exact match 0 280 002 014 and from the Exact year model car 1975 Mercedes 450 SEL you mention .

try BRINSON CO 1 800 535 8788 .on the east coast .a lot of reman stuff for older cars . looking at the picture of circuit board , i wonder if there is a short somewhere . you could solder a wire across the burned spot , and you may get lucky .

Thanks to forum members I found a ECU from this page and It's in the mail should be here in a day or 2 .
I could have got a New Re Man unit for $200 but decided to go with a original used unit said to be working perfect . The car is now running ok Even tho the ECU is Bad and has Issues . I am lucky about this because make it easy to know the upcoming Unit is working well .
Thanks Everyone for the effort
here is the link :
for the RE Man Unit for $199 ProgRama Many other venders sell their units for over $500 so this is the place to get them
