Yep, nice looking package. I don't believe the HP was doubled, but it's a nice looking setup. Do you have a dyno report or spec sheet to back up your claim?

And can someone get 400hp out of a 289 for $1500? Yes. It's not tough, and there is a TON of literature, spec sheets and enthusiasts who have done the very same thing many times over.

Aside from the megasquirt thread in this forum and your custom carb setup, I've seen precious little info on souping up an M117. I've looked for years.

I respect the Mercedes engines and have fond hopes for whomever buys my car, but the fact remains that most hot rodders, or people who would like to be hot rodders, don't look toward Mercedes to trick out their ride. They go with something domestic because parts are cheap and options are plentiful. And aside from going with something put together by AMG, the same can't be said for Mercedes.

Not to mention the fact that if you have a domestic engine it is much easier to get help. With the exception of the 107 forum, you may not live long enough to get a response to a question on BW.
