re-chrome - any recommendations?

I want to re-chrome the window ledges on my '73 220D. These are under the door windows (not the strips on the front or back windows).

I've see several places on the web - does anyone have recommendations? Or warning stories - mostly I fear sending these away and loosing them - where will I find others?

Thanks Frank

Aren't these anodize aluminum, not chrome?

Kent Bergsma of mercedessource has a video and kit to help strip off the hard anodization.

yea - I've seen that video - it's actually the inspiration for this project. The rest of the trim is nice (well I need a new side view mirror - those are available). But the window sill is really scratched up and need more work. It's just the 4 trim pieces under the windows.
