Looks like a 250S (carbs) Was it a running and driving car when parked? if so should not take too much to get it going again so you can evaluate before starting work. good thing is there were a lot of these 108 chassis cars made through '73 so should be no problem finding bits that might have been misplaced. There are always a few in the Pick n Pulls around here. Again not a high dollar car so you have to deciede where you want to go with it.

I believe it was running, when my dad had brought it home

Your car as is, may only be worth $500-$1000. A good paint job may cost many thousands of $.

Do you plan on doing as much work as you can yourself? Does this car have large sentimental value?

a new set of door seals is @$900, front seat covers $600. rebuilding carbs $6-800

If you do restore completely you could have a very nice car.

If the car means a lot to you and you have at least $6-8K to spend then do it.

The red paint on the engine is strange. It does look pretty solid as far as pictures so far.
