Help! Is this an original 220 SE Cabriolet or a coupe conversion?

Hi Guys

Hoping you can help, looking at this car and trying to find out if its an original 220SE Cabriolet or a coupe conversion?

The chasis number has been modified so that doesnt help, it reads 220SE033**********

the floor on a real convertible is much thicker then a coupe .usually when you chop a car you have to reinforce the floor so the body does not flex due to the missing roof

The chassis number (VIN) should be stamped in the firewall near the top center, as well as over the passenger side inner wheel well (inside the engine compartment.) It can also be stamped on the radiator support.

Take a look and see - this might help you determine if it is in fact a "real" cabriolet.
