Which manual? I know that the last of the W108 series had a dome light off delay relay on the firewall under the hood, which would require two power wires and one ground instead of one power wire and switched ground and always ground. But for 1968 I would have assumed that W109 would not have had this feature. Does a 1968 W109 feature delayed dome light shut off? I would have thought that feature to coincide with existence on same feature on W108, which I believe wasn't until 1972...
