OK, so I bit, did the search and came up with a bunch of 1966 250SE coupe videos, many of blue cars. Which one are we talking about? Will you post pics and/or a URL to what you're talking about?

I kept hoping that the OP would sit up straight and straighten out this thread...Maybe he has something of value ? But no such luck, so far anyway...

I believe this is the blue car in question, it is quite a fine example. http://www.benzworld.org/forums/vint...-finished.html

My understanding of the topic here is this gentleman did the paint work on the blue car but is not the owner and is offering his services on another unrestored car so you can complete it to your specification. I could have this all wrong but that's what I got out of it.

My only advice to the OP is to perhaps take a less aggressive stance when people ask for photos, after all they were offered in the first post and this is the internet, pics are greater than words. Plus, someone may see this thread a year from now and it gives you exposure in perpetuity so having pics up is maybe more useful than sending them only to a few people who may PM you for them, but that is your choice of course. Also, in my experience with Benz collectors, you can't always tell who has the money or the interest to buy an old Merc so treating all comers with respect and kindness goes a long way towards making a name among this worldwide, yet close-knit, group of friends. You do great paint work, I hope to see more of your skills over the coming years.

Not exactly. Read Direct LA's post, he's pretty much got it correct. I had a nice 45 minute phone call with the guy and he's OK. Just a little different style...
