A lots been said that the type of smoke is tell-tale, well, heres the symptoms
White smoke at startup, but black when warmed up. Engine feels like 70-80 percent of the output it should be capable of, runs a lil rough, 4 speed manual is nice
Starts instantly. That's encouraging. (If I had X-ray vision I think it would probably look like five water pistol like injectors instantly shooting with no fine mist in sight, just a stream which I think is the smoking issue)
Its a one owner car but 300k can't be good..
I've only had the car for a day so I don't know about the oil consumption.
I just read so much on here lately in threads where you guys were raving about how bulletproof a 240D is once you get it sorted, so I went all in..
