Just bought this beauty

New to this forum, I just picked up my first w111.
It's a 1964 220b, the older lady I bought it from has spent over $2000 on mechanical repairs from our local MB shop who has been working on these cars for decades. No serious rust on it, needs waxed and the chrome needs cleaned up. Other than that it's in great running shape. Let me know what everyone thinks! Better pictures soon!

All original documents, even the salesman's business card! So cool, perfect condition! Even has a bunch of original BOSCH parts, unopened!

Now that you guys can see the car, i'll give a little more back story. The odo says it's just ticked over 39k miles, my mechanic thinks it's 139k miles, but I was told that the original owner who was an elderly man and "supposedly an ex Gestapo agent that fled to the states" let it sit in his garage for 20 years and didn't drive it, which makes me think the mileage may be correct if it sat that long? Who knows, but it runs good and doesn't leak a drop. Recent work includes new clutch, fuel pump, fuel lines, brake lines, pads, tires, brake master, ignition system.

I'm not one to normally brag about prices, but I'm really curious what everyone thinks this car might be worth. I know it a base model, and isn't perfect but it is a nice car. Those are red seat covers, looks like an old but quality install. The covers are starting to get worn, but the original seats underneath look in good shape, just dirty. I paid $3,000 for this car and think I got a steal, thoughts?
