w108 2.8l m130 radiator part #

Can anyone help me with the part number for my w108. As the title states its a m130 2.8l. I have leaks from my radiator that i wanna take care of. If anyone is from San Diego and know of anyone or have the radiator for sale i would greatly appreciate it. Thank in advance.

I would take it to an old fashioned radiator shop (hard to find, but they do exist) and see about having it recored.

I had my W108 4.5 radiator recored about 2 years ago. New core is a higher fin/inch count and cools so much better than original. I think I paid a few hundred dollars. I can actually idle in traffic in Houston in August with the AC running and not exceed the thermostat cycling setpoint.

Funny what you find in these old shops. The owner of the shop I used knew exactly what my radiator was based on my year and engine. Never looked anything up, but knew exact dimensions. He used to do all the recores for the local mercedes shop about 20 years ago before everything became disposable.

Part number is stamped into the radiator, IIRC. A new one from MB is likely to be prohibitively expensive, so the recore is your best bet.
