On my 108 I had checked all the components of the differential ,joint was perfect in its sliding operation then detected the mark on one small area of the right bearing. This was causing the cyclic revolution thump with wheel under normal load condition, but not detectable with wheel off ground.
The left bearing is a conventional sealed bearing
