How to remove radiator? 70 250C
Yesterday I decided to resurrect my 250C from a long sleep. I bought this car about 7 years ago. It was running at the time, I took a test drive, but the previous owner did not drive it much, or at all. I of course had too many projects at the time and did not drive it at all. Bad for me.
Yesterday, I dropped the fuel tank and replaced all fuel lines - even found two original lines, yikes. While I was under that end of the car I drained and refilled the rear axle. Popped the tires off and discovered new brake pads and rotors. Yeah!
Up front I removed all spark plugs. Looks like it had been running a little rich but the plugs are not that old. While the plugs where out, I spun up the engine to get oil pressure. Good to go, so I put the plugs back in and fired it up.
It runs fine but it wants to overheat, so I only ran it for a few minutes.
Today I will set the timing and remove the T-Stat for a look-see. I also think the muffler might be plugged. After it was running I discovered all sorts of dirt and gunk that had been blown out the muffler.
I also need to replace the radiator. But I cannot see how it is attached to the car. There is no top mount holding it and I can't see any on the sides holding it. Once the hoses and cooling lines are disconnected, how do I get the radiator out???
