W108 M130 ran with mixed spark plug wires - takes longer to start / cleanup of carbon
Had the car in for a transmission oil change recently, mechanic liked the car so he also did some other stuff like adjusting the spark plugs (free of charge, he's a lovely guy). He accidentally swapped two wires for the plugs though, so the car ran rough when he drove it around for a 15 minute test drive. He didn't notice much so when we picked it up, we instantly noticed it ran on 4 cylinders.
Just wondering what I'm looking at when cleaning it out a bit. I guess two plugs are caked from pre-ignition and post-ignition, as two wires were swapped. The symptoms atm are a longer start up than usual (more cranking) and rougher idle (engine shakes and vibrates a bit).
