The asking price is a bit of a pisstake though ....

only interesting part of the add was "Gearbox" which leads me to belive its a manual car, and maybe even a 5 speed manual. that would be worth saving the car. aside from that no way this is worth 700 of the Queens Pounds.

That is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. A little bit of buffing, a few gallons of bondo... And to think, it's lighter now, what with much of the body having rusted off. It would run faster as a result

nope, its the useless automatic...check the interior photos. the m189 is a fascinating beast, and i believe 67 was the last and most-refined of that engine. like others say, complete pile of rust without that engine

Exactly, and even more weight savings by ridding those random engine bits that nobody knows what they do anyway.
