i got it for 2,500 and then had to do a bunch of work. i found out that when cold these things like to work and when they warm up they show their issues. i got brand new transmission with warrenty, new plugs and leads, new distributor and parts, only thing left really is the center console someone tried to pry up instead of gettting info on correct removal . the speed is very fun. acceleration good ...... but just doesnt have the cruzer feel. but its comfy as heck! im into it for just a bit :P like 9,500 huge jump from the purchase price :P

thanks for the feedback and i think i will do some rethinking on this now.

i am more of a oldie type of guy. i got 1959 edsel, 1979 monte carlo, and the rest are all 1992 (bimmer, cadi, mercedes).

why do people say the w140 is so bad?

yes i have a friend that likes the sports mercedes and i like the older cruzers so we were just going to trade right across if the state of engine and tranny was good.
Your tastes are certainly unique...
