Fuel Delivery in 77 280E

Does anyone know which is the Fuel pump relay? Also where can I get a new ECM?

Thanks as always for any answers.

Really. Someone told me there was. It is actually 280SE and it is injected.

Are you sure? That is great news if there is no ECM or other computer.

I think I saw that thread and wanted to comment that I didn't think a 77 (assuming k-jet) would have an ECU. But I decided to keep my mouth shut because I don't know w116.

In my 73 and 78 107s, the fuel pump relay is above the fuse panel. I have to take the cardboard sheet surrounding the fuse panel off to see it. It was a metal ice-cube shaped relay, one of many there. You could swap them out in my cars too because they are all the same. I don't know if the w116 is similar, but I would guess so.

(In late 78 on the 107s, they switched to a different larger relay.)

It is all just a mystery. Sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesn't. It is very cold even in the garage.

Battery is good and spark is there so I am trying fuel delivery.

I found a Chilton Manual and it says there is an ECM but if there is an electronic failure the car still runs because the ECM only adjust the fuel supply.

Has anyone seen that before when it runs with no ECM working?
