I'm in at $25k, but I have a feeling I am foolishly low given the "nut and bolt" restoration. Still, I think this would represent the absolute high end for one of these cars today, meaning literally "today" given how MB prices have been climbing.

The price is not shown, that is why i have sent them an email.
at first i thought this might hit 20s but when she responded saying 110.000 i replied back and said are you sure, this is not a typo?

she said absolutely not, it is proper nuts and bolts restoration and confirmed that this car should go for this price or close to it.

I do own 71 250c and love the car but i have to be out of my mind and money coming out of my ass to spend 110.000 for 250c, couldn't care what kind of restoration it had.

in a 110.000 land i would be looking for something else, not 250c.
just shocked, still shocked.

It kind of makes me sad... Someone who will pay that price for the car will probably just tuck it away somewhere. It won't get driven or enjoyed like it should.

You are, of course, assuming it gets sold for that much. I don't care how factory perfect that 250C is, or even if it's been modded with a brand new/modern Mercedes V8, $110k is a great way to make someone giggle. One might even start off with "A priest, a rabbi and a $110k 250C walk into a bar..."

$110k... For a perfect, "factory fresh" 250c, I *MIGHT* go $15k. Maybe...
