A look inside my trunk

In keeping with the theme of the car, I found what looks like a vintage travel case which is now my toolbox and houses some basic hand tools. The bottle on top (which I am sure most of you will recognize) is full of motor oil and is actually velcroed on top of the toolbox and stays there all of the time. In fact I can open the lid without the bottle coming loose at all, but if I need some oil, it is easy enough to remove. I used my vinyl cutter to label the bottle in what I hope is correctly translated and of course the JBL sub to give me the lows that I need for my music which still leaves plenty of room in the trunk for groceries.

Thanks for the kind words. I am planning on taking some new photos in the next couple of days, right now the car is really dusty. I can't wash it because the wind here has been blowing and here is the high deseret when the wind blows, it's tough to keep anything clean.

Pics as requested

The weather here today was in the mid 40's and the wind just about completely stopped, so we were able to wash
the car and take a few pics. We got a late start so we were already running out of day light. I uploaded the pics to
imageshack. See link below

We decided to go with vinly decals because I have a vinly cutter so it only costs me the material and my time and it is
possible to peel off to change the design or remove it completely from the car.

Are you sure your surname is spelled with an "I" and not a "Y?"

I see where your going with that. We wanted to do something that would be different and over the top, without crossing the line of being tacky. I know some people will hate it, find it disturbing and think we crossed that line along time ago, but to be honest, we have received a lot of positive feedback especially at art shows and gallery openings. The original vinyl design that I came up with was to cover about 60% the lower half of the car with designs in black vinyl as to give it the appearance of a two tone paint job. That's the nice thing about vinyl, it can be removed completely or changed up very easily, now the interior, that might be a little more of a challenge

Luna, your original plan sounds like it could be artsy / classy, how it is now would definitely take an acquired taste.

What if you just did your 2 tone plan but did the vinyl on the top part of the car with the pattern that matches your interior. That could be old school cool and look artsy / classy

I checked out your wife's website, her art is pretty cool, you better step up your final game to match.

looking forward to see what you do
