I see a money pit, depending on what needs to be done.
Finding things like windshield glass could potentially be very, very expensive, and it's something you must have to make the car operational.
There are a lot of places you could cut corners just to make it a runner, but something like glass can make the difference between a runner and a parts car.
Hopefully you researched this before you purchased?
I learned my lesson years ago with a $400 VW Beetle convertible restoration that ended up to be nearly $11k. The car was nearly perfect when completed, but I would have saved maybe half of that amount if I had just bought the best possible example I could find. With that in mind, these models are commanding stupid high prices nowadays, so you may very well be ahead of the curve - hopefully so.
