Engine seized can't remove crank
So I will cut to the chase. I bought a very nice 72 250 sedan but the motor is locked up. I started taking it all apart, got the engine taken out and started tearing it down. Lots of junk on top of the middle 4 cylinders but the outer ones were at the top of the stroke so they were debris free.
Back to the point, I tried everything I could to get it freed up while it was on the car, no luck. Took the engine out and stripped it down with the head off and tried up free them up with the head off. No luck. Then I flipped it upside down removed all of the caps and put a wood dowel down the back side and tried to free them up. My problem is since I can't rotate the crank I can't remove the flywheel and torque converter.
I'm not an amateur here I just have run out of options I can think of so I'm reaching out the gurus. This is my first Benz and I was excited to rebuild but at this point it looks like I may be buying a new bottom end.
Thanks in advance!
