Again engine assembly question

Shop called me and the engine work is done
I have all the parts to start putting it together but the weather is crazy cold and my garage is not heated.

What I need to know is this:
Is it ok to put the engine together but not start till spring or should I just keep the parts indoor and start putting it together in spring?

Thank you.

do it now , it is well oiled , i have kept some engine 1 year , no problem . plus if you have a tech problem , this will give you some extra time .

1) Measure up your engine stand and see if you can wheel it into the house through the doorways
2) If yes, go and buy your partner a diamond ring or some other present
3) With the accrued brownie points, select a room in the warm house and assemble engine there. Then wheel the completed engine to the garage when spring comes.

Good luck and let us know if this strategy works - if we don't hear from you in a week, we know that the reaction was not good!
Cheers, Drew
