1960s Mercedes: were power brakes an option?

Specifically, trying to research whether power brakes were an option or standard on these cars. I'm looking at purchasing a '63 W111 220SE, and in photos of the car, I see no vacuum line from the intake manifold and I see no booster behind the master cylinder. On earlier ponton cars the booster was an option, but a good number of the cars had them.

I like the idea of not having one because of a more simplified ownership, but curious now if maybe I'm just not seeing it?
