Mercedes W114/5 Different style headlights

Hey folks,

Just saw these headlights on an advert someone posted, I was wondering which model/year/whatever else they came on for the W114/5. Never seen them before, but they're so much nicer than the standard ones I think...

Those are the euro style headlights for w144/15 chassis
In my opinion superior look compared to North American version
I changed mine to euro thanks to a dear friend of mine from the Netherlands
I also added HIDs and will never ego back

If you can find a pair get them
They are bolt on installation

Ah ha, great stuff, thanks for the info. I guess finding a pair out here could be kind of expensive though eh?

Early models had nice long headlight lens in Europe but not so in USA due to a odd law requiring sealed beams .Now they find sealed beams have no advantage and again the new models come with European lens .

I never really liked the W114 Euro look. In any case, if you do find them and break a glass lens down the road, it could be a bear to find. Not that it's that much better with the NA version...

They're glass, rather than plastic then?

Oh yes - do you need to take the whole unit, or just the lense?

Garage
Here you go - expensive, yes but new and still available - I did not do an exhaustive search, these were the first ones I found. And if your current lights are in good shape I will buy them off of you.
