Pulling ignition cylinder from 1975 300D - Crossposted from W123

Hi all, this is crossposted from a thread I started in the W123 section:


I had a scary situation where my key wouldn't turn and the general consensus is that I need to pull the ignition cylinder and possibly replace it.

Some good links were posted about how to remove the cylinder, but the pics for those models don't look like the cylinder I have. Pic attached.

Does anyone have experience with a key cylinder like mine?
