You didn't provide information on the specific conversion. Back in the day, JAM Engineering made complete kits with Webers for the dual Zeniths and a Quadrajet for the Solex 4a1. They are quality products that installed easily and worked well.
IMO, the Zeniths are over-romanticized. I have owned four 250Cs and worked on many others. The Zeniths may have been fine when they were young, but on the M130, they got cooked by the sticking heat riser flaps developing vacuum leaks, and frequently the vacuum secondaries quit working right.
The best running cars I worked on have had the Zenith conversion.
So if you want to keep your car for a while, my advice is to do your homework, and convert to the Webers.
