My 1965 300se coupe sometimes stalls at traffic signals. Anyone know why and what I need to do?
These cars were very advanced at the time they were built.
The fuel injection was sophisticated. A number of adjustments can be done and therefore the wrong ones, if you're not knowledgeable enough.
A lot more information is needed to even begin to make a long distance diagnosis.
To start with: has the car been used or has it sat a while.
Bad gas ?, clogged fuel filters
. Could be fuel pressure, rust in the tank, ignition out of proper settings.
Can you provide the last 4 of the VIN, which will tell me the kind of F.I.pump it has.
What do you know of the history of the car ?
I sent a response to your other post, and I or people that I know can help with the right info.
