Thank you Luna
Yes driving it one winter will probably ruin and rust the car
I plan to keep it so it gets the special treatment :-)

The decals were made by Luna (THANK YOU).
They represent an album artwork called day and night by Schiller (german ambient electronic band).
and I love it, :-)

Looking very nice!

How did you achieve the lowering of the car? Did you put sport springs on?

Interesting. Heating the springs in place, will cause them to lower? Is this some Hot Rod technique? I just found the other thread you have on the lowered W114. My turn: what did you pay to have that done??

There are three options to lower
1. You buy shocks and springs that lower the car few inches from Europe
About 2000 bucks
All tested and doesn't affect the driving dynamics if the car

2. Take the springs out and cut them a ring or two
Ti make it proper you might want to search for after market (no idea which ones) shocks to cope with the cut rings

3. Heat them
I don't drive much and have no dirt roads and live how it sits
It's not wobbly at all and feels tight

Cost $60 bucks

I liked option 3

Keep in mind you need someone who has done this before springs shop
The person who did mine has 29 years of experience and has done this job multiple times

Thanks for the info. I have done some research on this technique and the consensus is not good. But thanks anyway!
