1965 Mercedes-Benz 220 Sb fuel PSI/CARB?

I installed a electric fuel pump to help with starting and general drive ability.

How much fuel pressure should be at the carbs? I am currently using a very low pressure fuel pump. It shows zero psi because the fuel returns to the tank. If I pinch of the return line I get about 2.5 to 3psi. Is that enough or do I need closer to 6 psi?

You are in the range specified for your carbs. My electric pump is rated at 5 psi but there are no problems. I did install a check valve which probably drops the pressure some.
