There are two Bakelite insulator/spacers beneath each carb with a metal heat shield that goes in between, for a total of four *4) of the same part.
The second picture is that of the insulating gasket/spacer that goes between the intake sections and the exhaust, of which there are two. If my memory serves me correctly, these are also very different in construction than the insulators under the carbs - they are made out of heat resistant material like asbestos that is pressed into shape, making them thick and very brittle.
