w114 parts

Does anyone knows what are the part numbers for the two and three way valves and for the emission junkbox?

is there a way to confirm they work as expected?
Thank you.

Thank you
Both part numbers for the valves are the same

I believe I have a problem with one of these items causing my ticking/pinging/knocking of my engines which I will describe in a new post

The paper manual supplement #8 for the W114 describes them. It's also on the W114 CD. Basically you take the car through a few different RPM ranges and observe when things click in or out. If your car is a late enough one, you have both retard and advance vacuum controls on the distributor. Using a mighty vac or the like, check that they have an impact at idle, 1,500rpm and 3,000 rpm. One side or the other may be bad. Then worry about the boxes.

There is no click coming from the valves
The front carb vacuum is strong going to the three way valve but there is nothing coming out on any rpm range
And I don't know how to confirm if its the valve or the black boxes
Thank you

I have searched for the three way valve and have no luck finding it, not a single hit for it.

0015400197

Where can I buy this valve from?
Thank you.

Check with Randy Steele at EPS, Ltd. Don't have his contact information handy, but he's in Goleta, CA and has a web site under the name, too.

Randy knows these cars well and has a lot of NOS stuff. Even if he doesn't have one he'll know where you can find one or if it's truly unobtanium.
