Adjusting the front windows and a lock question
My drivers door is very difficult to close. The rear top lip of the window is coming in contact with the rear window when its up and I think thats part of the problem. There is a visible rub mark on the chrome. Also, if the window is not all the way up or all the way down the door wont open. Basically the window is all out of alignment. The passenger window is 'saggy' on the back also, Basically doesnt roll up all the way. There are gaps in the top corners of both windows. Rears seem fine. Additionally, the drivers window is pretty loose..it moves a lot in the frame when its up. How do I go about adjusting them so they close all the way. My door seals aren't the BEST but they are there so..Im hoping I can adjust the windows somehow.
Second, the drivers side door will not lock when the door is open. If im sitting in the car and the door is shut, it moves no problem. If I get out and lock it with the key, it is difficult, but it locks. (very stiff) but if the door is open or not shut all the way it will not lock at all. Does this just stop you from hitting the lock on the way out of the car and locking your keys in? I took the door card off and there was still some grease around the locking mech so its not frozen. Thanks guys.
