J. Luna Gaudi with her 72 250

Went on a Sunday drive and wanted to share a few pics. We have been getting a lot of positive feed back on the car, especially at art showings.

Looking fine! I do have one question. Where, this time of year, did you find a rain shower?

For sure I think our weather patterns are a bit late. Here in Santa Fe, NM, we would always get the spring showers in March and April. For the last couple of years these "spring" showers havnt showed up until July. Thankfully, for the past four weeks, we have been getting the much needed rain here in the high desert.

I specially like the art work on top of the fenders
Braking bad territory
Isn't braking bad filmed in New Mexico?

Will the drivers side get the tattoo down the side, too, or is that just the one side?

Car looks good.

Thanks for all the positive responses guys! I wasn't sure how vintage Benz owners would react to all of the modifications that we have done thus far.

The drivers side will not have the same tattoo as the passengers side. I figured most people will only be able to see one side at a time. I have a vinyl cutter so we thought about having both sides a bit different. I will have to post some pics on all sides, as the bumper area has a few cool designs as well.

You are correct sir, Breaking Bad is filmed in Albuquerque. I have a couple of friends that work with the production crew. The following of that show is really big here. There is a local micro brewery here that started making and selling a Heisenberg dark beer and a candy company that is selling blue rock candy. Personally, I'm going to wait for all of the last episodes to be released and then watch them in a marathon.

It (the mods) could be far worse, believe me.

There's a certain 70s-hippie-funkiness to the embellishments, which sort of resonate with the era of the car, to me, and are in keeping with cosmetic mods evocative of way back then.

That's a trip man, I'm digging it! She's coming along nicely. There is something to be said for "art cars" even if BMW has the hold historically. (I love the Jeff Koons car.)
