Neutral switch

Hi

I'm a new member and I'm in trouble

I towd a 75 450 200 miles on a dolly with car in nrutral and rear wheels on pavement

This morning the key won't turn in the ignition.

Did I break neutral switch by towing and can it be bypassed to allow me to get car into garage.

Thank You

Don

no , key has nothing to do with that .on the other hand towing car with rear wheels on ground for 200 m at speed usually blows the transmission

Garage
Key wont turn? It's probably just the steering wheel is trying to turn and pressing hard on the steering lock. Try a gentile pressure turning the key while you try to turn the steering wheel left and right (with some force if needed).

The neutral switch will prevent the starter from engaging but not the key from turning.

As for your transmission, lets be optimistic. I've known folks to tow cars that way for long distances with no ill effect. First you gotta get it started.
