Looking for guidance on how to install a new bumper guard (front) on my 1976 450 SLC. Is there any repair manuals out there? I've seen the mechanical repair manuals but none for exterior repairs such as this. Thanks!

If you're talking about the "park bench" USDOT bumpers, you remove the bolts holding on the "wings, undo the shock absorber from the front of the car (4 bolts/nuts per shock) and remove the shock unit to get access to the bumper guard retaining nut.

Fairly straight forward but a bit of a PITA due to weight. Easiest to have a helper but a length of wood and a floor jack works well.
