M130 W114 valve clearance

I set my valve clearance to 0.003 intake and 0.007 exhaust as per Haynes manual.
I just noticed on a plate in the engine bay it says 0.003 intake and 0.008 for the exhaust
My question is how big of a problem is this and should I change to 0.008 or leave it as is?
Thank you

Not a big deal. Setting at the .007" is fine as long as it is a "loose" .007", .008" is for the original, pristine engine tolerances. I guarantee you have more than .001" of wear between the cam and valve stem surfaces.

Haynes is not very dependable ,just a handy manual without any detailed specs .
I have had best results with .10 mm In and .20 mm EX and timing advanced to 11"BTDC .Compensates for chain wear.
