Carpet MB 280CE w123.053

Hello, I am writing from Argentina. I have seen that have many parts help forum. First and foremost I give my baby. Is a 1979 Mercedes Benz 280CE coupe chassis W123.053 M110.984 engine. Completely original, which was from a friend of my father who died 15 years ago, since then been stored in a garage but without moving or launch. therefore we had to among many things, full brakes, full injection, new gas tank, etc.. At this time is in the paint shop.

My question is. How to know which is the original carpet, and I wanted to decode the VIN but not seeing any results, and the multi loop nose if German or German plush, or square wave. I leave vehicle photos, photos of the car's original carpet with a sample loop german multi colored parchment. I hope you can help me.

PS VIN number 123053-10-016607

Your interior-color seems to be 105 parchment (pergament), exterior looks like 586 Signalrot. Take a look at the metal plate next to your VIN-number. It should state the colour-codes of both the exterior and interior. It should also state the factory-delivered option-codes for this car (aircon etc.)

Thanks for the photos

At least I am glad to see the car we are talking about.
I have family in Argentina (B.A., Carilo, Brandsen) and would love to help.

What is your exact question regarding the carpet?
I would say it is parchment color also.
If it's not torn or rotten I would carefully remove all the pieces and have them steam cleaned.
Most likely it will be alright to reuse.
If you are looking at replacing everything a whole new set of carpets alone will probably run $1500- 2000. (My guess).
However I think your paint is English red (# 504?)
Any other parts that you need ? Let me know if I can help ?
I can get most anything for these cars, unless it is a special color interior bits and pieces.....

Good Luck

do you own a shop ?
I like the green SEC behind your car.
A very unusual color.
