workshop manual w107

Hey guys, Im looking after this beautiful 280sl (see prof pic) on behalf of a good friend of mine. Never been into classics, but this ones growing on me. Since pic was taken, she has been machine polished and rims are just back from refurb, this car is immaculate
Anyhow, Im looking for a workshop manual, engine mainly.... can anyone help me? cheeeers

Pinneford, check out the 107 section of this forum, and you will find all the info you will likely need, hardcopy manuals are not easy to come by but look in the "Stickied" sections - especially the "Encyclopedia Germanica" and you will see links for further info including a source for the manuals loaded onto a CD.

That said, 99% of what you will likely need has probably been covered on the forum.

You can find the Factory Manual here on EPC Startekinfo. Scroll down-I think it's on page 2 or 3.

Great, thanks guys. need to sort a high idle prob, Im a bit young for jetronic!!! but with some basic info will no doubt rectify it. suspect air regulator..

116 engine.
yes the air regulator is sticking and needs a thorough clean up . Remove and put overnight in a descaling solution allowing all the crud to dissolve, the thermostat plate will operate full length bringing the RPMS down as the water temp rises.
just sorted out a friend's 450se .worked!
