Sorry Marrs, I meant the back pillars (D in this case?) don't work for me - like a flying buttress sort of look. The rear glass is too vertical, and the side rear glass doesn't flow with that bottom corner.
If you were keen on the thick rounded D pillars flowing into the back of the car, then I would consider ditching those tail lights (which would be hard to work with a tail gate) and go for some ponton coupe items.
But yeah, the main issue for me is that a shooting brake is meant to be sporty looking, but the roofline and rear glass is too upright to give sporty pretensions.
Still, I am very envious of your ability to draw! i have many ideas but can't draw them at all. I am currently playing with peaked headlights on a W110 and trying a different hood and grille look. But I have to do it in the flesh as I can't draw it!
